Director of Photography | Filmmaker

Lensing Life
My carear in film started long before I became a cinematographer and my obsession with the dramatic came long before that. Growing up in a family of opera singers and appreciators, has had a profound effect on my love for drama. In the end it's all about building tension. Which is a key ingredient in my work.
My abilities go beyond handheld, long lens and drone operating. Having a professional past in both post production and the art department show that I'm equally sufficent technically as I am artistically.
Today I'm a director with the German production company SeeTree, run by award winning Producer Claudia Zenkert and a member of KMG Global Crew.

"I believe that filmmaking - as, probably, is everything - is a game you should play with all your cards, and all your dice, and whatever else you've got. So, each time I make a movie, I give it everything I have. I think everyone should, and I think everyone should do everything they do that way."
- Francis Ford Coppola
“Cinema is a mirror by which we often see ourselves."
- Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu
“If you comprise what you're trying to do a little bit, you'll end up compromising a little bit more the next day or the next week, and when you lift your head you're suddenly really far away from where you're trying to go"
- Spike Jonze
“The saddest journey in the world is the one that follows a precise itinerary. Then you’re not a traveler. You’re a fucking tourist.”
- Guillermo del Toro
